Join the Community Service Career to build character values like Responsibility and Emotional Control, or fake your way through and lose Empathy instead. Your Sim can truly help their world... or just pretend to.
Full Description
Make a difference - or at least look like you’re trying. Whether you’re sweeping streets or running local events, your Sim’s actions (or lack of them) can boost Responsibility and Emotional Control… or chip away at Empathy if they’re just pretending. Work Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 5 PM to 9 PM.
This rabbit hole career is available to both teens & adults

Career Levels
1. Street Sweeper
Fresh out of trouble, you've been handed a broom and pointed at the nearest sidewalk. Your job: Sweep, bag, and pretend you care. Try not to make things worse.
Simoleons per Hour: 1 (earned through tips & scavenging):
Objective: Be Happy (Sim must have Happy emotion at any point)
2. Park Cleaner
Congratulations, you're now responsible for a slightly larger area of public humiliation. Litter patrol, bathroom cleaning, and graffiti removal are your new specialties.
Simoleons per Hour: 2 (earned through tips & scavenging):
Objective: Reach Level 2 Fitness Skill
3. Community Event Worker
From the shadows to the spotlight! You're now handing out flyers, stacking chairs, and desperately avoiding eye contact at community events. It's exhausting, but at least you're slightly less disposable.
Simoleons per Hour: 15 (earned through tips & donations):
Objective: Reach Level 2 Charisma Skill
4. Community Service Supervisor
You've outlasted the worst of it. Now you're assigned to watch other troublemakers - making sure they don't sneak off early like you used to. It's almost like... they trust you. Almost.

Career Tones
1. Repent and Reflect
Focus on self-improvement through quiet reflection, journaling, or helping others in small ways. Sims may gain small increases in emotional control.
2. Do the Bare Minimum
Your Sim isn’t thrilled about being here and does just enough not to get into more trouble. They avoid extra effort and coast through the day. Risk of performance drop & lowers responsibility
3. Fake Good Behavior
Your Sim is putting on their best fake smile, sucking up to supervisors and pretending to be reformed. It might just work. Lowers empathy
4. Own Up and Work Hard
Your Sim takes full responsibility for their actions and is determined to make amends. They go above and beyond in their tasks, pushing themselves to grow through honest effort. Increases responsibility & work performance.
